Singer / Songwriter, Astrid Munday has released 3 albums featuring a lineup of brilliant Musicians who have recorded and performed live with her. "ASTRID MUNDAY", eponymous, was originally released through Blah Blah Blah Records. Astrid performed live with Stephen Moffat , Tim Cleaver and Shamus Goble as ASTRID MUNDAY & THE DEFECTS. Bassist Rosie Westbrook also played on the first album later taking over from Tim Cleaver. The album was favourably reviewed in The Age Summer CD Guide, Beat, Time Off, Rip It Up, Rolling Stone Magazine (Australia), Juice Magazines, The Monroe Doctrine and online by Music Critic.com. With a new band lineup, featuring Rosie Westbrook on bass, Sean Kelly on guitar and Craig Williamson on drums, 'ASTRID MUNDAY & DYSTOPIA' recorded at the ABC studios in Melbourne a couple of songs from the 'ASTRID MUNDAY' album, "Bang Bang" and "Babydoll Face" which was broadcast in may 1998 on Triple J's 'New Music Show'. Astrid's second album, "APPARITION" was released in 2000 . It has been reviewed by Who Weekly, Juice Magazine, City Search, Time Off and received a lot of support from Inpress and Beat Magazines, press and radio. ASTRID MUNDAY BAND featuring bassist Adele Pickvance from The Go-Betweens, guitarist James Paull and drummer Ian Kitney launched 'APPARITION' at The Continental Cafe in Melbourne with special Guest, Roland Howard and guest Artists who also feature on the album: Kiernan Box, Conway Savage,, Matt Heydon and Charlie Owen. Astrid's "Closer" video was screened on RAGE and Channel V . She also appeared with James Paull on ABC Television, 'The 10.30 Slot', performing "Photographic Eye" in 2000. Astrid's Munday's 3rd album, "SUNSHINE & PROMISES" is out independently distributed through Metropolitan Groove Merchants Distribution in Australia . The album was launched at The Retreat Hotel in Melbourne on October 3rd 2006 by 'ASTRID MUNDAY & THE MIDAS TOUCH' featuring Rosie Westbrook, James Paull and Ian Kitney.

Astrid has written with Kit Quarry under the name 'The Flirts' . One of their songs, "Win Or Lose" appears on the short film short film, "Margaret Star: A Fall From Grace" sound track released in Australia in 1995. Astrid has performed Flirts songs live with various bands she has played with over the years. The Flirts have also performed live with Ed Clayton-Jones, Donald Baldie and Tim Quarry. Astrid Munday also recorded with UK trance duo YLEM.
